On September 11, Peter Handstein, founder and CEO of Hape Holding AG, bestowed Doll 1 to Little Star Brands Group[1] on its return banquet in Cologne.
Doll 1 is the first doll listed at the beginning of the 20th century by Käthe Kruse. The given one is the second version. With Chinese characteristics-the bride is dressed in a red dragon robe with black hair-the doll embodies the friendship between Hape and Little Star.
Their understanding and lovingness of Käthe Kruse, the film and the original work The Little Prince are three of the main factors that led to Hape to become strategic partners with Little Star. On August 20, Hape®, along with Käthe Kruse®, entered Little Star in the Parkview Green shopping mall in Peking.
At the ceremony, Doll 1 showed up with handkerchief on its head-the same image of Chinese traditional bride. Peter Handstein invited Feng Gao, CEO of Little Star, to take the handkerchief from Doll 1 and expressed his best wishes. This meaningful address brought the collaboration between the two brands to a new stage.
The connection between human beings is full of power and happiness, said Peter Handstein.
